      Career and Technical Education - Technical Assistance Center of New York (CTE-TAC NY) offers over 700 rigorous and highly relevant Next Generation Assessments (NGAs) that are based on the U.S. Department of Education's 16 Career Clusters and 79 Career Pathways. Created by CTE-TAC NY, each performance task is aligned to the Common Core in English Language Arts (ELA) and Mathematics. Criteria for student assessment, a scoring guide, and related resources are also included. With a targeted completion time between 15 and 90 minutes each, the NGAs offer an invaluable aid to formative, in-course/benchmark, and summative assessment for any CTE course in grades 9-12.
